Approaching from the M4 Severn Crossing:

Exit the M4 at J24 and then take the A449 towards Monmouth.  After 12 miles, take the sliproad left onto the A40 towards Abergavenny (Y Fenni).  Continue on the A40 for another 9 miles and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A465 (Heads of the Valleys Road). 

Exit the A465 at the Gilwern/Govilon roundabout after 3 miles.  Turn right at the roundabout and take the last exit - signed as a Dead End / No Access Lane. Signed 'Glanbaiden'

****Do Not take first exit to Govilon***

Follow the road past 2 houses on the left and then take the next left turn signposted 'Hopyard Farm'.  Turn left into the courtyard and drive past the cottages on your right (Lilac Cottage is in the middle).  There is a double private parking space for Lilac Cottage on the right beyond the cottages.  Our large, secure bike shed is also situated here.
